I did this before but EICHEL LIKE TRADE

Description
I have already done this once before while the rumors started earlier this year, but now I need to do it again in the wake of all of the poor Eichel trades happening

Bruins are not giving up everything to add a guy they dont need. Eichel is not being sold "at a premium", in fact, IF ANYTHING, he is going to be a discount because he wants out AGAIN.

Stop with the bad trades, this is what it looks like lol

Lmao. wrong and wrong. But good try
Also i never said he was better lol so theres that too

I didn't say anything about skill level. But in terms of trade value, Dahlin has substantially more than McAvoy. Sorry to hit you with reality

Really man, you don't even bother to have a discussion? What a waste of time.

not if ur just gonna say **** like this "So basically your example sucks" and provide stupid examples like "BOS wants Eichel, either Pasta or McAvoy is a must add to the exchange"

Understand the point of the post. If the sabres have to sell Eichel cuz he doesnt want to play, they are not going to get full value back. Bruins are not a good target because they do not have a top tier prospect like a Kakko or something

Thats all

He doesnt tho. McAvoy is currently leading his team and is on a really team friendly deal. I wouldnt say McAvoy has more, but he certainly doesnt have less

Let’s clear some crap up.

Pasta has more value than Eichel. Boston would not do 1 for 1 much less add.

Boston not trading Mac.

Eichel will not be discounted.

There is a trade to be made with Boston that does not involve Pasta and Mac. Yes Buffalo fans there really is.

However it is highly unlikely as other teams can offer up better pieces.

Bottom line is the likelihood of Eichel ending up in Boston is almost as low as the likelihood of Boston trading Pasta or Mac to get him which is zero.

Everything is perfect here except "Eichel will not be discounted", and that is to be seen after this season if he is still unhappy because of how bad they are

Has nothing to do with it. PLD should have proven that to you. CBJ got the better of that trade despite PLD wanting out and tanking.

If someone wants him they will back up the brinks truck for him. My guess is it will be NYR. It’s supply and demand. Him wanting out does not diminish his trade value.

Problem was the Laine also had attitude problems and has been struggling; thats why that was even. So you have a point, but unfortunately it wasnt nessesarily true

Dahlin has been setting records and playing top pair minutes as a teenager. He most certainly does has quite a bit more value than McAvoy

Laine is a 35 goal 70 pt player. PLD a 50 point center. Both have issues. Laine is better. Plus they got Roslovic too. They won in terms of talent easily. Term might be a problem. Regardless a player saying he wants out does not diminish his trade value. Demand for him determines that. There will be plenty for Eichel.

Agreed. Dahlin is only 20. He’s been playing since 18. Teenagers have growing pains. Dahlin is going to turn out better than mcavoy easily.

Sammy Reinhart is miles better than DeBrusk and it’s not even close

Have you actually watched McAvoy play this year? If you haven't then take a look and then try and say what you just said about Dahlin who is a good player by the way. I understand Dahlin is younger but you are off base. McAvoy is at another level right now which you will see when the two teams finally meet. Reinhart is a better player than DeBrusk but his lack of speed makes the gap closer than you may think.

Lol. Imagine thinking McAvoy has more value than Dahlin... Dahlin alone is worth more than Pastrnak

I'm going to make a point to see Dahlin when Boston and Buffalo finally meet. Have you watched McAvoy this year? If not, do so. You might restate your McAvoy/Dahlin point. If you have watched him and you still want to stick with your point of view then Dahlin should be winning the Norris hands down this year.

You are wrong. Both really good players. Trade value would be very similar but McAvoy might have a little more based on two more years development and experience.

Please tell me the records he has been setting. I am interested in the specifics. McAvoy was playing top pair as a teenager.

In terms of trade value, Dahlin's age and amount of years of team control would out weigh McAvoy's " 2 more years of development and experience"

Dahlin had the second most points ever by a teenage defence men behind some guy named Bobby Orr. Being a Bruins fan, I'm sure you've heard of that guy.

Norris isn't a Smokey individual award and if you think so then you clearly know not a damn thing about hockey. It's not Dahlin's fault he plays for one of the worst organization's in sports. If he actually HD talent around him, he'd get more recognition. Awards typically go to guys that play on competitive teams. But if you wanna sit there and use that lame excuse, sure. Go right ahead.

1.Trade Value. You said Dahlin has SUBSTANTIALLY more. I said they are very similar but I leaned towards McAvoy. Get the arbitrator.

2.Records. Points by teenage defensemen. 3. Bobby Orr 72 points first 2 seasons as a teenager.
2. Rasmus Dahlin 84 points first 2 seasons as a teenager.
1.Phil Housley 143 points first two seasons as a teenager.
Heard of him. He holds the record. Still waiting for that first official record of the "Dahlin has been setting records and". Back up your statement or take it back.

3. My point on the Norris was that McAvoy is playing at a very high level right now so if Dahlin has more value than him than he must be playing out of this world and thus should be the best defenseman in hockey. I understand the situation he is in and how good a player he has to be to rise above that and which players (very good ones) on what teams (very good ones) usually win awards.
