Fast pass from Toronto. That's a massive overpay. Wouldn't be much more than the 1st and maybe Liljegren. Certainly not adding Amirov and a 2nd on top of that.

You could take the second out and it would still be okay, but much better than the 1st and b prospect talk from the other post.

1st and a B prospect is right around the fair value. Kubalik has been carried by Kane since he came into the league. Chicago won't get a prospect like Amirov in a deal for Kubalik unless they send more with him. If it's Kubalik by himself, a 1st and someone like Liljegren or Niemela or someone similar is more than fair value.

Remove Lillypad and put in Robertson. Hawks are too deep with young defensive players/prospects especially on the right side to the point that Lillypad would fall behind Mitchell and Boqvist and be fighting for a 3rd line spot with Regula in another year or two if Murphy isn't on the team. Furthermore, Lillypad is a similar to Mitchel and Boqvist whereas Regula is a better complement on the 3rd line given his size being 6'4" and 210lbs.

Kubs would be a great add to toronto. fills that last top 6 spot, pushes the other guys down to the roles they should be in. to get him from chicago you would have to over pay. kane is not carrying him, he is great on his own. remember when they said panarin was being carried by kaen... kubs is not THAT good, but he is solid, and a great guy to watch.

i'd hate to see him go, but in 2 years when he is up, and we are finally contending, might be to rich for our blood anyways.

At that point he’s an RFA.

He has not been carried by Kane. Like not even close. Last year the only time they played together was when they put out Kane toews and Kubalik occasionally for one shift at the end of the period. Last year and this year they have not once been on the same line. Not to mention Kubalik has been absolutely shafted on PP time, doesn’t even get to play with Kane there. Watch a game man.

13 of 46 points for Kubalik last season, Kane also had a point on.
This season its at 3 of 18.

I have the guy blocked, so I didn’t get a notification when he posted. Thanks for telling him what literally anyone with internet connection and working eyes could figure out.
