Description

This if NYI is in the hunt at the TDL. Hertl also has another year left after this one. He is still very offensively skilled but has matured and is now a leader. He's a monster in the playoffs and knows how to use his size. For me, to move Hertl it will take a talent like Wahlstrom to get him.

Also, isn't Hertl a center? We don't need a center. If he's willing to play wing with Nelson or Pageau, I'm very into it (but still without Wahlstrom).

Yeah but the opportunity cost (our best prospect whos singlehandedly made our powerplay lethal ) and a 1st isnt worth it.

(Opportunity cost is what you give up by taking a given option over the next best possibility. I'm an econ nerd sorry) I mean that's a choice, I'm not sure how competitive the Isles can be in that division

the isles were 8-2-2 in February, lead the division in expected goals % , and since wahlstrom joined the PP they are 8 for 20 and he's figured in 5 of those goals. I think they'll be alright. I just don't see how trading barzal's future winger makes sense for 1 1/2 years of hertl.
