If you're going to sign Bozak, play him at C. He's very strong on the faceoff dot (unless he has regressed since playing for the Blues).

You'll likely have to give Seattle a little extra to take Kerfoot, but you would only do so in order to keep Dermott. But since you've moved him for Brown (which I don't think is a good deal), there's really no point.

    Hyman money looks pretty accurate.

    Can't see Lowry leaving WPG.

Imo there's no need to pay them to take Kerfoot instead of Dermott. The pool of forwards able to play in a top 6 is thin, while lots of dmen of Dermott's caliber will be available. I think
Brown is a guy the Leafs should take a flyer on. As for Lowry, the Jets are already loaded at center so idk.

Brown can't seem to crack the lineup with a team that should be playing all of their young guys. If he can't get into the line-up with the Sens, he definitely won't in Toronto.

Not only is this a VERY valid argument, I wouldn't want Ottawa to make this trade anyway, since Chabot and Brannstrom can easily handle the top 4 of our left side and we might not be parting with Wolanin just yet.

I’m not saying you’re wrong but people said the same thing about Colin White earlier in the year. Just because a player is being held out of the lineup doesn’t mean they aren’t good enough to be playing.

I like Dermott. He's good. But I don't think we need Mike Reilly 2.0
Would rather see what we have in Brown. Still think he can become a 50-60 point 2nd line center.

Oh, I'm not saying he's not good enough to be playing. But form the outside looking in, a young guy who the Sens used to be (still are?) high on can't get minutes with the big club when that's all Ottawa should be doing is playing them. He should be in their line-up, let him grow with the rest of the young core.

Also, I believe the Leafs are at the stage now where they prefer to bring in guys with a little more experience (who are cheap) to fill out the bottom six, or give their own prospects a shot. Doesn't make a lot of sense for them to look at other teams unproven prospects.
