Not that the canes should make the deal but kerfoot has more than slight value and is definitely worth more than a late 2nd.

I already don't like the thought of giving up Trocheck and the trade would have to be a no. On top of that, I don't like that we have to retain Trocheck's salary, as we are already right against our cap.

canes traded 2 roster players and two prospects, one of which is playing regular minutes with florida. Trocheck having a monster year and canes get back two players that probably dont crack the forward group and a second? lol
