Does Brodie have to be protected since he has a NMC for 20-21?

no because his NMC ends by the expansion draft I saw it on TSN. Basically if he didnt work out Dubas would expose him to Seattle. But so far hes worked out well

it was on TSN and Chris Johnsson reported it the day Brodie signed the deal. Basically the NMC is for security but during the draft like Muzzin if the player didnt work out EXPOSED. But both those guys have been great. No goal for brodie yet but it will come.

He's been drastically overrated this year and is incredibly carried by Muzzin. He's a very high risk type of player that has Muzzin to bail his ass out. Whether it's 7-3-1 or 8-1 I'd leave Holl exposed and protect Dermott. Let Seattle choose between taking Kerfoot or Holl. Both are extremely replaceable on the Leafs

Well they're pretty much forced to leave Holl out in both of those circumstances, as they don't have any other D-men to fill the ExReq rule.
