Description

A move that would help the flames now and in the future, two solid scoring forwards for now and two 1st round prospects and a 2022 1st not protected for the future, I can’t really see how Calgary could turn this down, even though this is a lot to pay I think it’s still worth for Ottawa, they have a ton of prospects there’s no way they can all get their shot so might as well cash in on them if they keep with the trend they’re setting they should make the playoffs next year the first shouldn’t be too high but that’s the gamble you take

Garbage is the wrong word to use. Thomson and Greig are 1st round picks. White is a 1st round pick too but more of a middle 6 guy. Dadonov is a top 6 forward. I agree those aren’t the right pieces to trade for Tkachuk but they’re definitely not garbage

Jets fan here, and growing up with pops, I was hoping that Chevy was going to get crazy in those drafts and some how get back up and get Mathew after laine and again go get Brady. But no luck, would have taken some Burke magic of getting the sedin twins, but a few years apart may have made it easier.
