A star like Eichel is what we need. But Romanov is the deal breaker here. As we need young mobile defence men and He looks good. Als we have barely any cap space. Try making this from the Habs side

He’s 22 so I don’t want to call him a bust, but the concerning thing is that he’s not getting better. If he turns into a star in 3 years I wouldn’t be that surprised but he hasn’t improved from year to year. At least form what I’ve seen

He has 2 points and 3 shots in 4 games

Mittelstadt looked good this season, lost weight and gotten faster, he looks creative and is better defensively. He now looks like a full-fledged NHL player. Hell, I don't even want to trade him now, although I've never been a fan of Mittelstadt.
