Now you know the reason Ottawa picked Sanderson over Drysdale

I don't exactly know where Heinola fits if they keep Pionk, Heinola is a small offensive defenceman but I don't see him being a top-pairing player nor would you want 2 offensive defencemen paired together.

Many Jets fans are starting to ask where Morrissey fits...

I can't see him being moved nor do I see the organization making him play on the second pairing.

I think a lot will come down to how negotiations go for pionks next contract, morrisey is already locked up long term and heinola will be cheap because he is still on his entry deal, if they think heinola can step into a similar role as pionk next year i think poink will be the one to go if we are having trouble signing him

I think jets fans (im one of them) miss that rugged physical dman after Buf disappeared, CHariot went to MTL and Trouba was traded. I think Samberg fits this mold (to whatever extent).
Regardless, the jets have done well to draft and develop these guys. Time is coming when both Heinola and Samberg will be with the jets
