Here is the thing. This team is young and pretty damn talented. It needs time to marinate.

Only thing that should be on Gorton's shopping list is a legit 1C..... not entirely sure Zib is it (although he is good), and Strome I have been luke warm on for a while. At least a legit A-B option. See Strome.

The rest of this team works for me long term. Patience.

What's going on in New York?

They've got all the pieces to be a power house.

Team was struggling completely and their best center Chytil got injured so people had to move up and Trouba was playing better but now he's injured and now no one know how long Panarin will be gone for. The lack of depth has really killed this team and the veterans are not really stepping up

I said it after the draft lottery. I will say it again.

If I were Gorton, I would have moved the first overall to LA and drafted Byfield. Alexis is great, but he did not address an obvious organizational need.
