Description
Doing it again with a 3rd team. This is really just for fun. Boston administration goes crazy. Almost everybody wants to be traded, players with NMC accept to lift it, let's see what the Bruins can get out of it. Also some people seem to not understand my trades so I will explain them from now on. Also the trades have been tweaked from what it previously was

BOS
He's getting drafted in the Expansion draft, I just had to put a team so no he's not going to San Jose
    SJS
    1. Kase, Ondrej [Droits de RFA]
    2.
    BOS
    1. Greenway, Jordan
    2. Menell, Brennan [Liste de réserve]
    3. Choix de 4e ronde en 2022 (MIN)
    Détails additionnels:
Coyle could be a number one center for Fiala and Kaprizov
    MIN
    1. Coyle, Charlie
    Détails additionnels:
Greenway is a good physical forward with upside to be a good top 6 player
Menell had 47 points in 57 games in the AHL last year and now 35 in 43 in KHL this season, as a dman and he's only 23

so they're getting 2 young pieces with good upside
    3.
    BOS
    1. Connolly, Brett
    2. Knight, Spencer [Liste de réserve]
    3. Lundell, Anton [Liste de réserve]
    4. Nutivaara, Markus
    5. Choix de 2e ronde en 2022 (FLA)
    Détails additionnels:
you get a filthy line with Huberdeau, Barkov and Pasta and almost everybody is gone in 1 or 2 years so except for Bob you're not stuck with any dead weight
    FLA
    1. Pastrnak, David
    Détails additionnels:
Lundell was the 12th ovr pick in last year's draft and is PPG in the Liiga
Knight is one of the best goalie prospect in the league, if not the best (between him and Askarov)
Connolly is a good middle 6 forward
Nutivaara is a decent middle 4 forward
a 2nd to make it more equal, i wouldn't be against putting a 1st instead
    4.
    BOS
    1. Merzlikins, Elvis
    2. Choix de 3e ronde en 2023 (CBJ)
    Détails additionnels:
Smith will be a good player on the 2nd line and could play center besides Laine if needed
    CBJ
    1. Smith, Craig
    2. Choix de 2e ronde en 2022 (FLA)
    Détails additionnels:
Merz becomes Boston's number 1 goalie, Korpisalo seems to be Columbus' number 1
    5.
    BOS
    1. Bennett, Sam [Droits de RFA]
    2. Kinnvall, Johannes
    3. Lucic, Milan (2 625 000 $ retained)
    4. Zavgorodny, Dmitri
    5. Choix de 1e ronde en 2022 (CGY)
    Détails additionnels:
Bergeron is a rental and is injury prone, that's why the price might be lower than his actual value, but i think it's fair. And Calgary gets a dangerous center on the 2nd line or first if they want
    CGY
    1. Bergeron, Patrice
    Détails additionnels:
Zavgorodny looks like a steal drafted in the 7th round. 67 points in 40 games last year in the Q.
Bennett gets a new opportunity in a new team, serviceable defensive player.
Kinnvall is almost PPG in the SHL as a Dman at also 23 years old, so good upside
Milan Lucic for the cap, but only 3 million on Boston's cap to not hurt too much
    a 1st to compensate Looch
    6.
    BOS
    1. Eriksson, Loui
    2. Lind, Kole [Droits de RFA]
    3. Virtanen, Jake
    4. Choix de 1e ronde en 2023 (VAN)
    Détails additionnels:
McAvoy to play with Hughes and make a deadly pair, only 1 year left so the Canucks will need to find a way to pay him
    VAN
    1. McAvoy, Charlie
    Détails additionnels:
Kole Lind is a young winger with great upside.
Virtanen has become a good power forward for the middle 6 and still could get better.
Eriksson cause you have the cap to take him and he's only there for the year
    a 1st to compensate
    7.
    BOS
    1. Drouin, Jonathan
    2. Edmundson, Joel
    Détails additionnels:
Grzelcyk can become the number 1 left handed dman for the Habs and be on the PP.
Bjork can replace play on the bottom 6 a bit on the same role as Lehkonen.
    MTL
    1. Bjork, Anders
    2. Grzelcyk, Matt
    Détails additionnels:
Drouin gets another fresh start as the focal point of the Bruins offence
Edmundson is a very good 3rd line dman and can help on the second if needed
    8.
    BOS
    1. Buchnevich, Pavel [Droits de RFA]
    2. Chytil, Filip [Droits de RFA]
    3. Deangelo, Anthony
    4. Trouba, Jacob
    5. Choix de 2e ronde en 2022 (NYR)
    6. Choix de 2e ronde en 2023 (NYR)
    Détails additionnels:
Carlo replaces Trouba and will cost less.
Marchand is a great player but on a 4 year deal, we don't know when injuries might finally come
DeBrusk has upside to be an even better player
    NYR
    1. Carlo, Brandon [Droits de RFA]
    2. DeBrusk, Jake
    3. Marchand, Brad
    Détails additionnels:
If Deangelo gets out of his head, he's a great offensive defenseman, better than Grzelcyk.
Chytil is already a good 3rd line center, with potential to be a good 2nd line center.
Buchnevich is one of the only Rangers players playing well and I would like to see him get a bigger role.
Trouba doesn't fit in New York, but we've seen what he could do in Winnipeg, this is a big gamble.
The 2022 2nd becomes a 1st if the Rangers make it to the 2nd round of the 2022 playoffs.
The 2023 2nd becomes a 1st if DeBrusk resigns with the Rangers or if he scores 50 points during the 2021-2022 season.
    9.
    BOS
    1. Larsson, Johan
    Détails additionnels:
Hjalmarsson, Goligoski and Demers are leaving in FA, so they need a dman, and Moore could still have something left to give
    ARI
    1. Moore, John
    2. Choix de 5e ronde en 2022 (BOS)
    Détails additionnels:
They have too many dmen and Larsson is a sure thing for the 4th line if one of the centers is injured or not ready
    10.
    BOS
    1. Choix de 4e ronde en 2022 (VGK)
    Détails additionnels:
There's too many dmen in Boston, Lauzon, Vaakanainen, Kinnvall and Menell are all in front of him in the depth chart and he looks like he's going nowhere.
He might get ice time in Detroit
    DET
    1. Zboril, Jakub
    Détails additionnels:
a 4th for their trouble, Zboril's value is very low anyway

As a Leaf fan, I can't wait for this Bruin team to play again in the Northern Division against the Leafs.

Exactly! The return for Norris caliber defenseman John Moore should be multiple firsts on top of Johan Larsson.

This is a no from Minnesota. Charlie Coyle is overrated, not a complete C, & with his contract, Minnesota says no. Charlie Coyle has less points than Greenway this year, & is a -3. So absolutely not from Minnesota. . Greenway has more points in less games, & cheaper.

Greenway is leading wild in points, & is a plus. There is a reason wild GM didn't trade Greenway, & rewarded him with new contract but still a cheap one. Menell has been a stud in Rissia, & wild management/ Fans are looking forward to his season ending, & coming back to Minnesota.

Boston is going to have to pay a team to take on Coyle. Joel Erickson ek has more goals, & assists than Coyle in less games this year.

Except they won't because they don't plan on trading him lol. He's having a down year, but good for around 40pt a year and can play in all situations. Doesn't help either that both wings for him have been rotating in and out while Boston tries to get the 2nd line going.

The simple fact is Minnesota fans know who and what Coyle is already. You can't BS us into thinking he's a 1C, because he's not and never will be, he's a high-end 3C who can't hack it in a top six role.

If he could, he probably never would have been dealt to Boston by Minnesota in the first place. Especially if he had ever consistently used that big frame of his to throw people around and was the puck possession monster he continuously flirted he could become to us.

It never happened, and finally found success with Boston because they left him where he belongs, on the 3rd line as it's center. He needs consistency and for stuff to not be moved around in order to be effective, which is why he's struggling right now.

Greenway up until this year looked to be Charlie Coyle 2.0, minus being a center bit, as he showed the same tendencies as Chucky almost to the tee. Except, Guerin chewed him an absolute new one last year after the play-ins and to his credit has been a different player so far this year. Message sent, message received. He came into camp having lost weight, but added muscle, and just plain looks like a different player out there. He has turned into what Wild fans hoped both he and Coyle would become.

There isn't a chance in hell we take Coyle back, let alone for what you're asking, intended fun or not, Coyle doesn't hold that much value.

For the record, Joel Eriksson-Ek makes a better 1C then Coyle would. 🙄

Ya man. We get the concept. But if you’re going to trade pastrnak, maybe trade him for something? If you’re going to trade mcavoy, maybe get more than two cap dumps a 1st and some random prospect. That’s the issue here. You’re trading the teams top assets for garbage. The mcavoy trade is probably the worst in terms of value. The pastrnak one is also just....you’re not getting anything! Then you’ve got debrusk, Carlo, and marchand for a bad contract, a toxic contract, a fringe second line center, and an okay winger. See the issue? It’s not with the concept. It’s with the execution.

Edit: ahhhh you’re a habs fan. I think i get it now.

I was gonna say "I get that you are making it for fun, so I dont care about the validity of the trades", but they are so off that I have to comment on that too
The Pasta trade isnt Terrible, but bruins could get more ... so whatever
But the Bergy, Coyle, and McAvoy deals are nothing short of insulting, and the Debrusk/Carlo/Marchy idea is probably the most lopsided trade I have ever seen on this website ever

Now the only comment I was going to add before I saw how bad the trades were was that Chelarik isnt signing with the bruins cuz he doesnt like them anymore.

But lets go back to the trades. Those are bad man. This is bad

Again, I get that its "for fun" so im not gonna argue against you trading away our best players, im not an asshole lol.... BUT at least make it decently realistic

Quite a long rant for something I never said haha. Ask anyone whose had a deep talk with me about Coyle and they'll tell you I think he's a great #3C but not a even a #2C on a cup contender.

This also isn't my ACGM, so I'm asking for nothing, but hey go off lol

Greenway is leading wild in points, & is a plus. There is a reason wild GM didn't trade Greenway, & rewarded him with new contract but still a cheap one. Menell has been a stud in Rissia, & wild management/ Fans are looking forward to his season ending, & coming back to Minnesota.

Boston is going to have to pay a team to take on Coyle. Joel Erickson ek has more goals, & assists than Coyle in less games this year.

relax dude, that is probably the most fair trade in this post

Quite a long rant for something I never said haha. Ask anyone whose had a deep talk with me about Coyle and they'll tell you I think he's a great #3C but not a even a #2C on a cup contender.

This also isn't my ACGM, so I'm asking for nothing, but hey go off lol

Eh.. I just quoted your comment because it was convenient. The rant was directed more at the OG poster.

You're all good in my book, sorry about that. 😅

No it's not. Coyle isn't good. Greenway has become way better than Coyle.

I honestly thought I made good trades but thanks for the insight, I'm not the biggest Bruins follower. Honestly thought Coyle was better than that. But I would like to at least defend 2 trades.

First the Bergeron trade is fair in my book, cause Bergeron is a rental, he could always sign back with you if he wants next year. But since he's a rental you can't ask for 3 1st and 5 high end prospect. You still get a 1st and 2 very good prospect and one who's NHL ready. Yes it's underwhelming but he's a rental, you can't ask for a team's entire future.

The Rangers trade, you're getting 2 1st, Buchnevich and Chytil who can replace Debrusk and half a Marchand, and 2 dmen with natural talent to replace Carlo, and if they go back to what we know they're capable of, this trade would honestly be a win for the Bruins in my book. It's the biggest gamble but if it works out, this would be a total fleecing I think.

Obviously this would be heartbreaking but in the end this team gets younger with a lot of guys who could thrive in a bigger role, a bit like the Golden Knights had when they came into the league, and you're getting a way better prospect pool.
