I think he will see action but either as a 3rd line wing or a 4th line center. Honestly would be an upgrade over kerfoot on the pp as I rn I like Thorton as the net front presence, Matthews and Marner are a duo made in heaven, Rielly is the QB of the pp but kerfoot feels out of place. With Gal being a pp specialist could be a match made in heaven. While im not saying 30 goal Gals gonna magically come back he could bounce back to 10-15 goals with the leafs who knows. Maybe he will develop chemistry with one of the big 4 and shock the entire NHL. To early to tell but rn let the development staff work with him for now and get him going. Leafs have a way of getting struggling players to work so could happen again.
