I wouldn’t of traded Nylander and Kerfoot if I was the leafs. The only thing i agree with is Verhaeghe and it would be for Simmonds not Thornton

Sure Anderson is off to fast start, so time will time if he better value at RW than Nylander. Jenner isn't really a good centre...average. He's more of a LWer Don't know why folks think he would be better at 3C than Kerfoot.,
Leafs right on wrong wanted veterans...in this case Thornton and Simmons. Gee all the years of people saying the Leafs weren't tough enough and they get two "toughies" in Thornton and Simmons, and suddenly that isn't good enough. Plus when players are UFAs...they can sign with any team they want, so it's not like the Leafs "could have" signed Verhaegue or Caggiluia.
Bogosian has been solid, Would light weight TVR been any better....doubtful.

Considering Leafs are racking up the Ws and have yet to really play their best hockey yet, I'm fine with how their off-season went.

TVR sucks, I'm no Bogosian fan but I'd rather have Bogo then that TVR.

I wasn't a Bogo fan, but he's been really solid this year.

It's amazing how psychotic Leafs and non Leaf are. Has to changes every game and thinking the next guy that comes in is going to make the team better. Betcha if the Leafs went undefeated from season opening to TDL, fans would be screaming to make changes for "playoff hockey"

Yeah he's surprised me with the steady play. Wayne Simmonds was among the best Leafs forwards before he got injured. I was very skeptical of the signing but clearly he brought things most guys on the roster don't have.

Looking back, the Leafs had a great off season. Managed the cap well. Brought in players during the off season who now are performing well, instead of scrambling to fix the lineup mid season (as so many suggest)

I wanted the bolts to resign Bogo got Schenn instead to bad.

I would've liked the Jets to sign Luke Schenn.. Lol

Seriously need some dmen who can play some physical hockey when needed.
