My personal top 10 rankings

IMO it could go somewhere like this:

Owen Power
Matthew Beniers
Luke Hughes
Dylan Guenther
Kent Johnson
Simon Edvinsson
William Eklund
Aatu Raty
Chaz Lucius
Brandt Clarke

I think Beniers goes 1, especially if Ottawa or Detroit are picking there.

Everyone seems to be hopping on the Beniers hype train. I think he’s good, comparable to RNH, certainly a good player, but not a 1 OA type of guy. I think Guenther and Johnson have the higher offensive ceiling

I’ve been on the Beniers hype train for a while 😂, watching the Wolverines play right now is a real treat. IMO he’s progressing like a Barzal in the NHL. High end speed, great in traffic, about 70-80 points a year. I’m also higher in Johnson than Guenther. But splitting hairs, all three will makes an impact

I’ve heard the Barzal comparison and I see that more in Kent Johnson tbh, I could be wrong, I mean I, no expert but that’s j my 2 cents

Based on what I've seen of Johnson and Beniers, Kent Johnson using his stickhandling skills like Barzal while Beniers doesn't have the same stick skills so he uses his body to create opportunities.

I doubt Wallstedt goes top ten

He may not but I see him as a top 10 player in the draft

Teams are just too wary of goalies in the first round total. People thought Askarov was a top 5 pick last year.

I think since this draft class is weaker Wallstedt could go higher than Askarov tbh, even tho Askarov is probably better

I think the top 3 picks will depend on the teams need
