Ottawa easily declines. Brannstrom's ceiling is more valuable than that package. Also Rakell costs good prospect (which Legare is not) + 1st at minimum

Checked some of Brannstrom stats and sure they are quite decent. From AHL and swedish juniors.
But I am still iffy about him, hopefully he proves me wrong in a few years. Some do take longer to take off. Would very much like to see whole ottawa young squad success. For once a rebuilt done right.

Brannstrom's size scares off a lot of people, even some Sens fans, but he's been really solid, until he got hurt. It was only three games, but it was very promising.

We're very optimistic in Ottawa, but we have to avoid the, "all our prospects are can't miss" opinions. Most will do okay, a couple will be better than okay, and a few won't pan out. I was really disappointed by Jarventie at the WJC, for instance.

Something sure went wrong for Jarventie in WJC. He had an good start for the season in Finnish Liiga, but been a ghost before and specially after WCJ.
