Wild would have to pay more for Pens to take on Parise, rest seems fair, not sure why pens would trade Zucker for staal though

Montreal isn't moving Mete this year unless it is for a defenseman of equal skill. We need the depth going into the playoffs.

Cannot see Carolina moving out their captain.
I think you could pull a bit more for Dumo.. Kase hasnt really shown anything since being dealt to Boston.
Pens could pull more for taking on that Parise contract.. but they would also have to get rid of more.
Mete deal is pretty much what MTL would ask for, but it doesnt make sense for us to make that deal.. all of our dmen are almost healthy.

Well i'm a big Mete fan but he wants a trade and he doesn't fit in our plans with Norlinder, Guhle, Harris and Struble all left d's

Imo it's just about fit, I think Staal would is able to help Pens more than Zucker is, even though I think Zucker is the better player

Moving out Staal allows Carolina to move Necas to Centre though which I think works better for them, and solidifies their top 6. Mete deal happens because of the Dumoulin deal, which might not be completely fair I just think with age, and in a good spot Kase could really thrive

I agree but like I said he won't be moved this year, more likely a move comes in the summer or next season when one of Norlinder, Guhle, Harris or Struble pass him and show they are ready for the NHL. Until then Mete will remain as a depth option for a playoff run.

Canes definitely pass on retaining on Staal and getting a lot weaker down the middle. Canes don’t want/ need Zucker

Allows them to let Necas start playing his regular position though. Aho-Trochek-Necas is still really really strong centre depth

Based on Necas’ style of play, he is probably best suited for winger.

RBA tolerates Aho’s center play but Im not sure he could handle 2 centers playing that way.

Bruins dont want Dumolin, the value is poor going back the bruins way. Easy reject
