I get all the hate on torts as he’s done some dumb things, but at the same time he has done some great things for Columbus to make them relevant. That being said his contract ends at the end of the season and it’s super easy not to bring him back as he seems to have worn out his message in Columbus.

My guess is the reason he hasn’t been fired yet is due to the lack of quality candidates for the job right now, when there will be more options as in the offseason.

So for everyone saying Laine won’t play for torts after this year so trade him, please stop and do some fact checking, like the fact that tort’s contract ends after this season and they can get a different coach for the team.
