Thought this would be fun. Add more in the comments

Maple Leafs - Cowboys (Pretty obvious)
Blackhawks - Patriots (Elite during the 2010s, now going into rebuild)
Bruins - Packers (Consistently good in the 2010s/2020s, only 1 championship during that time and great history)
Avalanche - Chiefs (Elite offenses and will become a dynasty in 2020s)

I don't get how this is an ACGM? Isn't this more of a forum thread?

I like the Blackhawks and Leafs comparisons and not even mention both Chicago and New England had legendary coaches when they won their championships.
Devil a aimé ceci.

Buffalo Bills and Edmonton Oilers. Except Oilers won those championships in late 80s/early 90s.
But other than this current season there's a lot of similarities.

I was thinking of that but Bills haven't had success like the Oilers

Eagles are the Blues. Took them a while to finally win a championship, and they did it by beating a widely disliked team.

49ers are the Oilers. They had a really good decade run but come up short in recent years.

Browns are the Panthers. Embarrassing up until this year.

Jaguars are the Coyotes. Embarrassing.

Pretty good comparison between Blues & Eagles

I would say all time thats a good comparison but now idk. Oilers are much more offensive while 49ers are defensive

Spot on with Browns and Panthers

Jags and Yotes are kinda similar but Jags have a brighter future

My first choice for the Oilers was the Chicago Bears. Bears were dominant in the 30s but haven't done much since except for a SB loss in 2006, kind of like how the Oilers were dominant in the 80s but haven't done much since except for a SC loss in 2006. But it's wider gap on the Bears side and it wasn't during the Super Bowl years.

I feel like 49ers was actually a decent comparison thinking about it. WayneGretzky = Joe Montana and dominant in the 80s

Flames are the Bears

Good in the 80s, got 1 championship and have been good yet disappointing ever since, including a finals run in the mid 2000s

Broncos are Red Wings, but unlucky. Good championship runs in the late 90s, big market that always makes some noise and mid-rebuild
