seems like a lowish price for ellis. I dont know if I want him becuase of that contract and we have to re-sign a few guys upcoming (Sandin, Robertson, hyman and possibly andersen)

Plus that trade destroys our defensive and bottom six depth.

Leafs look at it, but ultimately pass due to Ellis' age/contract, lack of depth after the trade, and cap space with key guys needing new contracts.
