They have legitimately 0 reason to even entertain a Gibson trade, any team trying to get him needs to give them a reason too. EDM doesnt have a franchise level prospect in the system, it would take a franchise level forward prospect +++ to even get ANA on the phone. That price goes up when a division rival is whos trying to get him. Gibson is who ANA is building around they arent trading him

Honestly Gibson is keeping the Ducks from bottoming out, they should trade him for 3 or 4 good future pieces, move out a couple other guys and go into a full rebuild in my opinion.

Zegras and Drysdale? I think both will be very good and could be those pieces but I don't think you can just slot them in as those guys... Zegras maybe, forwards are usually easier to project. Drysdale is far less likely to be a number 1 than he is to be a number 1. You need multiple A+ prospects at certain positions.

Ducks don’t need 3 or 4 good pieces. They have plenty of quantity with their young players and prospects. They need quality and there isn’t any in this offer.

Broberg looks like a fantastic prospect. Edmonton will gladly keep him.
