The team looked really good in their 6-1 opening night win over Utica (Vancouver). Each organization clearly has a strength on the team: defense and goaltender for Florida, and forwards for Tampa. Together it looks like the team is going to be a lot better than it would have been without Florida's players. I don't think any prospects are losing out on playing time, but the added talent is going to allow everyone to play to their full potential.
While we lack a bit of high-end forward talent outside of Barre-Boulet, Florida's Denisenko looked to fill the part on the top line on the opposite wing of Ross Colton. While Somppi played a fine game as 2C with Katchouk and Raddysh as wings, when Heponiemi (who I presume will slot in as 2C) enters the lineup, after playing a few NHL games to start the season, it should be an even better Top 6.
