The majority of the Crosby, Malkin and Bennett trades come from fans of other teams not Habs fans. Read through them and see how many are actual Jabs fans it might surprise you. BTW the reason Habs fans don't want Sid or Gino is their age. Why should we give up great YOUNG assets for 3 years of either player when the players we are trading will have 10-15+ year careers with the Habs making them contenders for at least that long?

EDIT* Looking at just the first page of Pens trades with Habs involved there are 9 trades proposed and 9 of them are by fans of teams other than the Habs including 3 by Pens fans. THat should tell you just how much Habs fans want ANY trades right now lol. On the Habs side there are 4 trades involving the Pens and only 2 involve Sid the 2 others are Mete to the Pens. All 4 are from Habs fans and of the 2 involving Sid 1 is for next offseason.

It's actually pretty comical because you're sitting here calling out people for undervaluing your players, then turning around and overvaluing them, which is absolute comedic genius if you ask me...@alfie11 literally JUST told you why it's happening, then you turn around and say "NOOOO! It definitely doesn't happen!".

Just a quick heads up-If a team is selling off a star (It seems like 90% of these threads are based around Crosby to the Habs for scraps), it usually signifies that they are competitive, which means that they have literally ZERO use for a pending UFA.

Read my above post! You are right the trades are either too much for Habs or too little for Pens but don't blame Habs fans for undervaluing Sid or Malkin or overvaluing our players cause the majority of trades don't come from Our fan base.

I mean, if you just click "Montreal" in the trades section, the entire 1st page is 100% Habs fans accounts, aside from an Isles fan who started one just to compliment Bergevin...

Crosby has a full NMC and only want to be traded to MTL. Bergy would negociate from a position of strength. That brings the value down.

Of course the 1st page of Habs ACGM's are going to be mostly Habs fans same as any other teams ACGM's that is not rocket science! The post though said INVOLVING PENS trades!

Sure, over the past few days Pens fans have responded to the hilarious Hab trades. Who would have thought that two separate fan bases would place a high value on their own players (Which is funny, since we agree on this point, so I'm not sure why this is even a discussion...)

Also, this post should be in the forums (Since it has absolutely nothing to do with trading, and is only here to troll others), not in the ACGM.
