MTL isn't trading away a 25 yr old winger who is entering his prime and had 8pts in 8GP for a 36yr old winger.

That 36 year old winger has 6 points in 8 games, 2 points less than Drouin. Kings decline.

As a Kings fan, this trade doesn't interest me. Brown has 2 points less than Drouin and Blake said he's not trading him.

Oh My God.

You just fell a thousand miles away from the closest sense.

I will stay next to my phone, ready to call 911. That opinion is borderline criminal.

It's like saying no to Teravainen for Lucic.

With you being a Canadiens fan, I don't expect you to understand that when you have a guy that's been on your team for 15+ years and captained your team through 2 Stanley Cup victories and still produces at a top 6 rate and is the heart and soul of your team, you don't trade a guy like that, especially for a player Canadiens fans always complain about....

That's because of Daryl Sutter and how he coached Brown. Proof of that is his production raised to 60 points the year after Sutter was fired. Then 50, then 35, which he may have reached 50 again if he wasn't injured and the season didn't end early. He's on pace for 50+ again.

I don't need to explain everything to you, both teams decline.

You know what Brown is not on pace for, that is another Stanley Cup, don't be selfish. You have made all the arguments in favour of why the Habs should acquire him. Both teams benefit from the trade.

I'm happy to hear you're as high on him as I am. However. Blake said he isn't trading Kopitar, Doughty, Brown, and Quick.

You know who else has 2 Stanley Cups and is still good and very fast? Jeff Carter. We'd be happy to work something out for Carter, but not Brown.
