This is probably an overpayment for Graves, but just get it done and move Anisimov, Paquette, Coburn, and Reilly to the taxi squad. The 2021 3rd should be an early 3rd, and the 2022 2nd should be a late 2nd. These picks should be close to the picks Colorado gave up for Toews, which makes this a no brainer for Colorado to accept, if they are willing to part with Graves.
For those that are not familiar with the 25 year old Graves, he's 6'5" just like Gudbranson, JBrown, and Coburn, but he moves very well for 220 lbs, and he plays with pace. He will not look like the others when you see him play. He has a very hard slapshot, and is not afraid to go to the net when the opportunity arises. He is also not afraid to drop the gloves, and occasionally has to because of his open ice hits.
I've brought Brannstrom up, and moved Chlapik in.
BTW, Anisimov, Paquette, Coburn, and Reilly are all on expiring contracts, and baring injuries, can finish their time in Ottawa on the taxi squad as far as I'm concerned.
I think colorado owuld accept but it would have to be in the offseason, right now colorado has injuries and they're gonna need him
I just scrolled down here to say just that. Avs can't afford to lose a Dman now with Toews and Johnson injured. Futures do absolutely nothing for this team either, they're in win now mode.

I had this in the description, "if they are willing to part with Graves."

It's all good, thx
I'm surprised you proposed this trade since, "This is a Montreal/Toronto fan. I don't think he knows the Ottawa's players that well, so it stands to reason he doesn't understand the other teams players either.", your invaluable knowledge of the each franchise unlike myself.

Someone has hurt feelings
I do hope you are learning about viewing trade proposals from both sides. Read some more of the recent Colorado/Ottawa threads, there has been some good dialog.
