i was just curious... when did all of u starting watching the habs and really paying attention to hockey?

i started watching the habs during the 2010 playoff run when i was only 5 or 6 years old and i started paying attention to the whole sport during the 2012-13 season

I was 5 when I first started watching and playing hockey. Back then I was an (I hate to admit this) Oilers fan. That was 1983 so I never really got to see many Oilers games living in Kingston. So my allegiance shifted to the Leafs form about 84 to near the end of the 86 season. That's when this rookie goalie started to really draw my attention. I was always a fan of goalies it was even my preferred position so Roy was the reason for my switch from the Leafs to Habs and have been a Habs and Avs fan since.

Also in case you can't tell from most of my posts my favorite Hab player right now is KK.

it was 2010 i was 7 at the time (17 now). i was at as friends house. game 3 habs vs washington in net was Jaro Halak. ever since then i was a habs fan. never played hockey. play road hockey recently. gained alot of interest in my freshman year of highschool

I was born in Montreal though now I live in cali, and i have been a fan since I was born. My dad watched every game and since my bedtime was before the games were over, i remember in the morning i would wake him up early and ask who won. Then I moved here and couldn't watch them for a while and just googled the results and watched the games on nbcsn and watched the drafts. Then I got nhl.tv and now i watch every game!

2007. I was 5. Just started playing hockey around that time. Funny thing is that I had 5 t-shirts, price, malkin(who was my favourite player) crosby ovechkin and Chris Higgins.always have followed intensely. Some ups and downs you could say.

I’ve followed Hockey since I was young, since my Grandfather who lives in Montreal watched a lot of Habs game so I watched the games with him and that’s how I became a Habs fan and became interested in Hockey cards and knowing all the hockey history. I’m also an Avs fan though I’m not actually sure why maybe because of the Nordiques even though I wasn’t alive when they played and a Leafs fan since like 2016 because of Matthews, Nylander, Marner and Reilly.

I've started watching it in 2005-06, Steve Bégin was my favorite player at the time 😂

I came super late to the game. My best friend was a habs fan and his favourite player was Carey Price. This was during the 13-14 season (when I was 10), and I think I might’ve watched some of the 2014 playoffs, but I don’t remember much of anything. I barely watched any games in 14-15, a bunch of games in 15-16, and I was completely obsessed by 16-17.

Price was my favourite player, until KK came around, but I still love both of them.

I remember starting to watch when I first began playing novice hockey myself... and I started living and breathing everything Montreal Canadiens during the Ice Storm in MTL and when the habs traded Vinny Damphousse : (

I also have a memory of during the 2011 playoffs we had a sheet with the scores of every playoff game and series and when I saw that game seven Habs v Bruins was a 4-3 Bruins OT win I kept switching the 4 to the habs and the 3 to the bruins ( I was 6 at the time )

I went to my first Habs game in 2014, a Leafs-Habs game at the Air Canada Center. But I really fell in love at a 2015 playoff game against the Rangers. Ironically, it wad the game Kreider injured Price again. But it was still incredible
