Description

Explanation for every move:
-the Andersen signing: of course this is based on the assumption that TOR and him decide to go their separate ways. Andersen is in his early 30s and would be a very good goalie to help DET reach their potential.
-the Krejci signing: he's started to decline a bt but he's still a useful 2 way player. I think it would be awesome to have Veleno learn from him.
-the Hjalmarsson signing: this is made to buy time for Hughes and McIssac. I don't se Hughes being able to play 20+ minutes EVERY SINGLE NIGHT at 18-19 years old... Hjalmarsson is there to compensate for that. He'd also be the team's top PKer while mentoring Hronek, Hughes and Seider.
-the Staal signing: at this point in time he is a number 7. If Hughes needs a night off Stal draws in.
-the Luke Glendening signing: he's a Michiganer, I don't think it would be dumb to bring him back for 2 years
-the Casey Cizikas signing: he's an AMAZING 4th liner and an amazing PKer. He is brought in to help the PK.

You may believe I'm crazy, but I believe this team is capable of competing for the playoffs in 2022

I like pretty much all of this except for signing Staal for 1 million I would rather sign pretty much any other 6-7 defenseman unless he's named Ericsson (Errorson).
