I don't mean to take anything away from the guy. I fully believe he can and will become one of the games better Dmen, I just think to book it in for next season might be a bit overzealous. He'd be getting an increase in minutes of 30%+ and while, yes, QoT tends to have a greater impact than competition, there's still bound to be an adjustment period in defending the games best far more often. Idk, just my opinion.

Huge fan. But with short track record and reputation, he's more inflammatory than the other three and I didn't feel like a kerfuffle.

Holl is for real. Muzzin carrying him was the inflamed part. All he ever needed was experience and confidence. I get the idea of not wanting to go to battle. Cap friendly will catch up around the same time as the playoffs.

So Dermot is zero points in 7 games and is plus 2. Dunn 2 points in 6 games, minus 3.

If Holl continues playing the way he has so far, the top 4 is set. the bottom pairing should be Sandin and Bogo, and they should be trading Dermott for a center prospect who is exempt from the expansion. Keep Lehtonen around for Depth, give Sandin the room to play and Dermott the chance to get better somewhere else.
