Im telling you, the referees in the north division are terrible. a seven year old could do better. An idiot couldve called the kerfoot boarding call. its just horrendous this season.

Reffing has been bad across the entire league. It’s not just a “isolated” incident in some series or divisions. So just know it’s everyone’s games.

It’s been brutal in all of them.

There's no accountability. Refs don't get reprimanded for bad calls. Coaches and players can't dispute penalty calls or instigate something should've been called. A player/coach complains about it? Well, hope your penalty kill is good because you'll be seeing it on the ice more often.

Florida has a really underrated defense, Driedger is really good at hockey, and they have 3 working forward lines by splitting their talent.

They are a bit underrated, but they’ve also only played Detroit, Chicago, Columbus, and Nashville. They could make the playoffs, but they’ll have to fight with the Blue Jackets.

I mean, there's a lot of reasons. They've got two guys shooting over 30% (one of whom is Carter Verhaege), Hornqvist shooting double his career average, Ekblad doing the same. Their PP is one of the hot ones to start the season (39% before tonight's game), expect that to cool off. They've got one of the highest team save percentages due to Drieger's .945, prolly not sustainable. Also have played half of their games so far against Chicago/Detroit. Hate to be the party pooper, but I think we can expect a hard drop-off down the road. I'd guess they take the 4th division spot.
