I will say this Benning deciding to keep Virtanen over Toffoli will most likely result in him being fired this coming offseason.

Virtanen seems to not be in the good mind of the coach nor the organization. Should have traded him than resigned Toffoli. But apparently Benning wanted OEL and planned to package Virtanen and other players for him. Man did he make a big mistake.

Doubt Vancouver would be interested, especially with Hughes, Rathbone, and Juolevi coming into their own. Doesn’t make sense with Jordie Benn either, playing his off-side with Quinn the last couple games. He would be a good option for depth purposes.
