Créé par: kscoop
Date de création initiale: jan 26, 2021

Explications
Not sure on the trade value for Forsberg but I figure they get a younger cost controlled LW in Debrusk and a good young goalie to be the backup of the future and maybe push Saros once Rinne retires.

Call me crazy, but would Goligoski be a much better fit than Hjalmerson?

Sure, he will cost more in asset, but if you are calling this a deadline ACGM, and in acquiring Forsberg you are going for it....... follow through man!

I don't see the Preds making the playoffs, so Poile maybe ready to entertain a bigger move.

I like Hjalmarsson's defensive ability better and I believe he fits nicely with Mcavoy.

first instad of the second at the minimum, i think it would take another prospect as well, a good one, preds dont need a goalie, they have saaros and they just drafted askaraov

Uhhhh, if you’re dead set on making it around debrusk, probably debrusk, first, and two of the bruins top prospects.

Ya man I forgot Forsberg is a superstar! Easy there. Career high 64 points.

It’s been said that Hjalmarsson wouldn’t waive his NMC out of Arizona under any circumstances.

Also, the Preds have no reason to trade Forsberg, especially if they’re just downgrading him for a small return.

What? Did you just say that Goligoski would cost more than Hjalmarsson? You know they’re both pending UFAs, right?

If he isn't interested in re-signing an extension after this year a player like Debrusk is a good return as a starting point.

NSH has absolutely no need for Vlader, and DeBrusk + 2nd is not = to Forsberg

Forgot about Askarov. Debrusk is a very good starting point.

Think that depends on what you see in Vladir. If his numbers translate to the NHL, he and Sarros look upnthere tending for 5-7 years, and DeBrusk is capable of being a 50 point winger.

That could be a smart hockey move.

Well one of the problems here is that the bruins don’t have teh most interesting prospects out there.

Forsberg is a heck of a player and a really good goal scorer. Your offer was low.

Yes lol. And Goligoski has looked much better over the last couple years.

His offensive game is still strong enough he could QB a PP2 unit.

Debrusk would be a good starting point. He is and will be a 20+ goal scorer for the foreseeable future.

Low?

I know you post all things Bruins, and you have a solid knowledge base here, so I have to ask what you see in Vladir....... as for me this sways the deal one way or the other.

I just don’t think a goalie prospect interests the press one bit. Vladar is a tough one to project. He started his pro career so early. I think it’s one of those things where we’ll have to see him play in the NHL to find out.

I think DeBrusk would be a nice piece for them. Young LW under team control for a bit. Forsberg is a 30/30 guy whose only 26yr old and signed for 2 more years at a reasonable $6 million. If he hit the market, there would be a lot of teams looking to acquire him. I think you're looking at DeBrusk + 1st or high prospect + young NHL roster player

I agree with you.

People here don't understand that most trades aren't great player for great player. Usually a trade is a good/great player and soon to be UFA for a younger good, cost controlled player plus other assets. Most trades aren't of the Laine for Dubois caliber.

I agree. It’s a weird angle to be talking up debrusk and then talking down forsberg. Why make the trade then?
