Bahl and a 2nd for White is interesting. Bahl will probably never be more than a 3rd pairing guy, but since Ottawa has Chabot, and with Sanderson on his way, 3rd pairing is all they would need from Bahl. The 2022 2nd (NJD) is a good value balance.

Butcher has top 4 upside and he showed that in his first year before falling back: LA could rejuvinate him, but with the cap that he carries and the nature of where he is at, doubt he would net a large return. Luff just is AHL support with perhaps 4th line / 13F upside.

You are overpaying for so many of these trades. Zacha is worth more than Mete. Butcher is worth more than Luff. White is worth barely anything with his contract. Why would we want MEV or Okposo?

I don't think the Devils would do any of these- you've successfully added a significant amount of cap without making them much better.

Vlasic best days are in the rear view mirror ... The overriding theme here seems off to me ... I do not believe NJ is ready to flip young pieces for experienced ones yet. They are still gathering young assets now. Solid start, but its only a handful of games, NJ will likely be sellers at the deadline.
