Fleury is playing out of his mind right now, so the contract isn’t an issue. I could see the NTC being a problem, but in terms of goalies he’s playing at a top 5 level right now.

That was before the season due to cap, hes now playing well and Lehner has been off, if they still want to save cap they need Lehner to rebound and they wont be dumping him and the team they trade to will need to take a significant amount back

I kinda think Sabres fans are going to disappointed with the trade they are going to get for Hall. Arizona overpaid for him (and they were worse with him), heck Jersey was much better without him.
Can't see Fleury waiving for Buffalo or any poor team.

If that's the case, why would VGK even consider moving Fleury?

Because they have another goalie capable of playing to that level. In the playoffs you can only play one goalie at a time so it’s better to spend the 7 million on a skater than having it sit on the bench.

In case of injuries having two good goalies is vital.

Yep well aware. 7M in is still too much per season. My point was if that was the cost then, it wouldn’t flip now to Buf paying that much. Sample size being a real thing, and everyone knows goalies can have insane stretches (hello mister Hutton)

You do understand that Vegas is one of the transient large cities in the US? Meaning most people came from a place with an established hockey team so they understand there will be down times.

So how are they spoiled? You haven’t provided any context to your initial statement.

They’re desirable to FAs as they have no state income tax, extremely low property tax, world class entertainment, great weather, great hiking/rock climbing (free solo guy lives here), world class golf courses, thirty minutes to ski/snowboarding (much better about ~5 hours). If you want to be salty because of that then you do you but don’t throw a blank statement on VGK fans as spoiled.
