The time to trade Graves would have been before Cole was traded. Cole could have played 2nd pair, but Pateryn or Johnson probably shouldn't (can't).

If, and this is a big if, COL were to trade Graves, they should get a 6/7 RD back in the trade, maybe ask for a 3rd and one of Josh Brown, Artem Zub, or Christian Jaros.

Cole was barely 6th D level, no way he could have played 2nd pair. EJ is way better than him, not even close.

Selling Graves for a 6/7D would be horrifically bad asset management. The trade in this AGM is also bad.

You may have missed part of the comment, it was a 6/7 D and a 3rd for Graves instead of a 5th and a 3rd, but of course that was after I commented that they shouldn’t trade Graves. I don’t care what Graves value is, this was the OP value slightly adjusted.

As for EJ vs Cole, it’s a moot point, so believe what you want, because what matters is, they shouldn’t trade Graves.
