he can never make the team out of camp, injury issues, work eithic issues mostly. He still probably still has the most upside out of any of our centre prospects (unless you count stutzle) so idk if the teams necessarily looking to move him but it definitely looks like hes running out of time imo. hes probably got more value to the sens at this point with what they invested in him but i want to see him in the NHL before i would move him personally. If Lias Andersson can get a second-round pick id say brows probably close to that value, maybe a bit more because he's definitely had more success in north America but something around that

That’s kind of what I’ve heard as well, I think it’s worth the Wild looking into him because of that upside and I don’t think the cost is unreasonable.

I think it would all depend on what the front office thinks of him. i would expect that he wont get traded out without getting more chances in the NHL first so i think hes either on the team in the future or he'll be gone in a year or 2 for like a 4th round pick. I dont think now would be really a great time to move him

Right, I have to assume they don’t want to give him up but something is going on for him not being on the Sens roster at this point. He’s got real talent and doesn’t seem like he should be in a Honka type situation of having that high ceiling but never really playing. I bring up the idea cause of Freidman’s 31 thoughts that say he could be available and it’s not clear to me why they’d do that. Was Stepan the place holder for him this year?

he might be available just cause its been long enough and he hasnt really made the team but im not sure tbh. All the veteran acquisitions were kind of head-scratching this year but if i was a betting man i would say brown will get to the NHL by the end of the year weather its for stepan or anisimov or whoever
