Goalies seem to in high demand with the taxi squads. They are just far up enough they are missing the waiver wire. Options may be limited although I’m not sure of what starters may be available on their last year of their contracts.

Ask Wheeler to waive and try to slide through copp/demelo/Stanley? 4/4 and lose copp/wheeler or 5/3/1 and lose Stanley/demelo. Interesting Seattle going to be solid early

I thought that was only for expansion draft reasons. To avoid teams trying to manipulate the system. And pretty sure it was January to January the year Vegas came in. So Stastny probably wouldn’t fall into that scenario, if I’m correct it was only expansion draft related.

Number of pro games matters and I think that includes AHL games, would have to go 7/3/1, will have to make a trade with them to take someone specific and not take some guys they want to keep or just protect who matters most and let them take whoever.

I imagine they try to build a nucleus with team control kind of that 22-25 type category and take as many picks as they can and possibly some aging capdumps with picks. They are probably going to be solid when it’s all said and done
