- the trend of 1st rounders for medium level rentals really shouldn't continue and sets a precarious precedent that might snowball in weird ways

- with hallander & medium level assets being able to snag a young good RFA like Kapanen why not try and leverage this particular package for a better asset?

This is a waste of assets for TO.

Dumb GM's will continue to do this. Rarely does it pay off but then it will and everyone will point to the 1 time it worked and ignore the 8 times it didn't to justify doing it. I don't think Dubas will be as wasteful as many other GM's.
