Description
What exactly are we doing here? Anisimov on the 2nd line on purpose should be a fireable offense on its own.

What exactly is the point of guys like having Paquette and Watson being in the lineup full time, when you still need to throw Michael Haley in there when you want the team to play tough? If those guys can't bring that on their own, they should already be on waivers, because that was supposed to be their saving grace.

The fact that Galchenyuk and White are ever out of this lineup, especially with Stützle out is ridiculous. The Sens already have a huge issue with a lack of skill, it should be a no brainer to have them on line 2 with Dadonov.

Wolanin in for Coburn is good at least.

Seems like he only wants a team hard to play against, but not a team that can actually win

I'm going to assume he saw some things last game he didn't like in those players he's scratching (At least I'm hoping this is the reason). They did get blown out, the score could've been worse. As long as it's not a consistent favouring of grinders over skill players. 1 game isn't a big concern for me

If they aren't hard to play against already when Paquette and Watson are in the lineup, take them out because they clearly aren't doing their job, and they're just getting carved. Just go tell Filip Chlapik to go play heavy. Not a fighter but he can make his presence known on the forecheck, and actually brings a bit of skill, and great defensive metrics.

These are actually lines of a team playing in the NHL. Not an NHL team though, because they clearly aren't that.

White barely played, but he created probably the best chance they had all night, which Paquette missed on leading directly to a goal the other way.

I'm guessing they don't have any intention of winning tonight. Based on the clips I've seen the last couple days of guys like Guddy and Watson testing each other at practice, they're planning on Just firing a warning shot tonight. I'm guessing this will be the first game to beat in terms of total PIMS this season.

This is infuriating to watch. Where is the offense going to come from? I expect us to be in the box all night. This is atrocious

i just dont get what hes seen out of those vets to give them such a leash. Paquette has been our worst player and has been in every game, watson has had a marginal impact apart from 1 goal and tbh i forgot Micheal Haley was in the NHL until we signed him. The kids have been our best players in almost all situations but i dont see why we need 1 line that literally projects to be completely ineffective that's realistically going to play as much as the top line

I don't understand what his vision is for this team. He doesn't trust the young guys to be on the ice in key situations, but he clearly trusts the Tkachuk-Norris-Batherson line to be responsible for 100% of the offense. He's leaving Dadonov out to dry, and sacrificing all bottom 9 offense to play all "his guys".
