Connor is likely on one off wing, he’s been playing there since laine got injured and he’s very good there. Tbh not worried about the powerplay. Just worried about a powerforward who will likely put up 50 goals a season soon.

Currently crying, also this trade is going to just ruin our PP. we’ve seen how bad it has been without laine, how are they planning to run the PP now??

Well, the good news is that Laine is much less likely to put up 50 goals now that he’s on Columbus. They don’t have enough high end skill, and their play style won’t help Laine at all.

Laine doesn’t need much high end skill. He needs a playmaking centre. Domi is that and even Roslovic is. Also laine won’t likely have a problem with torts like people think tbh. Even if he does, laine will never say anything. That’s just the type of character he is. So sad to see him go.

The jets 2.0 had one gift from the hockey gods, and chevy threw it away. I don’t care if he got a 1c back. And what do the jets do with perfetti now? If I had to chose, I’d have laine over perfetti any day.
