Description

Has anyone heard an update or any new rules for players coming into Canada from the states? Will Dubois have to quarantine for the full fourteen days or will it be adjusted for the amount of testing the players have access to? If it's the full fourteen the Flames will get the Jets without Laine or Dubois three times, even if it's down to ten days he would miss two games against Calgary, assuming he gets to Canada today.

If he quarantines for the full fourteen days he will miss 7 games with his new team, with the condensed schedule, the Jets play 12.5% of the season without one of Dubois or Laine. Does that change your opinion on trades this year?

Every province is different. In Alberta, the quarantine is less than two weeks with the rapid test. so if you have an extended homestand that player could play sooner. It's two weeks for cross-country travel though still. Not sure about Manitoba though.

Day to day, no real updates yet probably misses a couple but it doesn't sound super serious.

Thats good he has been really good this year. I think this may be his breakout year

It's such a complicated process. The Oilers lost Anton Forsberg on waivers, so they claimed Troy Grosenick. If the Oilers had been playing at home he would have been able to be in their lineup within x number of days (can't remember how many lol). Instead they are on the road and because of that, only had a bit of a goalie issue.

I don't think there will be too many trades this season, but when there are I think the timing will be key. Try to time it just before a homestand so your guy doesn't miss as much time.

I think he has a higher floor than a lot of players but not quite the ceiling people are expecting, if he is to bust out and be a top six guy on the Flames I think that it will come the way of special teams, become a PK contributor and a key part of PP2
