I think that Colorado probably accepts that.
McCann is probably better than Nichuskin, or his is right now.
And adding in Lafferry who is a solid player, looks good imo.

No, Avs wouldn't accept that at all.

Avs are a team who value analytics higher than anyone in the league (based on their moves the last few years), and Nichuskin is an analytics darling. His 5v5 xGA/60 was literally the best in the league (tied with Cizikas) last year, and that's why he finished 8th in Selke voting. He's also signed to a very reasonable $2.5m contract.

Nichuskin is also the only really big forward the Avs have in the bottom 9, so it would hurt to lose him on that front as well.

If McCann was an elite 3C then it would probably be considered. But he's not. In fact, he's better on the wing than at C. So it doesn't solve the 3C issue for Colorado which is the priority.

Hawks decline pretty fast. Ceci is useless to the hawks plans and essentially trading a youngish RFA in Zadarov for a 2nd would be trading Saad for a 2nd.


Calvin De Haan, at age 29, is probably not a part of the Hawks rebuild plans and would align better with the Pens age. He's also a way better defender then Zadarov.
