Montreal isn't doing PLD for Suzuki straight up. Stop. Also Suzuki would be the 1st line center here, not Domi

Montreal isn't trading Suzuki, he's done great and who would replace him while PLD is in quarantine

I don't think the habs still in the race if Suzuki or Romanov has to be part of the trade. Even if Dubois in a habs jersey would be nice, I don't think the habs are going to give their better asset. Maybe KK and a picks or a B prospect can worked on MTL side, but CBJ will ask a lot more.

The best option for CBJ is to let him play more than 3:55 and wait until the best offer came to the table. Like Yzerman and Sakic does with Drouin and Duchene. They've wait and they get what they want.

2 weeks ago I would have offered Danault + Caufield + 1st but at this point with everything going on in Columbus I am not sure you could pay me enough to take PLD. Most I would consider at this point is Drouin + Kulak + 2nd.

Why not? Remember trades need to be fair and balanced. PLD and Suzuki had very similar first season. PLD is much big and taller plus has more experience and wants to stay in Montreal. Which is a very good thing.

Not when the team and player are publicly fighting and Montreal DOESN'T NEED PLD! PLD is looking like a HUGE cancer in the locker room, I wouldn't want him on the Habs at this point.

because I believe Suzuki will be the better player and Montreal has more control over him. PLD has a bad attitude and the only positive is he's french, but nobody gives a **** about that

That’s fair. I just see a lot of one sided trade proposals coming from Montreal fans.

He wouldn't be a "cancer" in MTL because he wants to play there...

Unless Jarmo comes down on his asking price, we will never know.

I’m not sure I find these to be fair trades? Just more like you dumping players for the player that you want.
