And avs are one of the deepest teams in the league right now with byram as well

If they can make a deal cool, but no way byram is ever mentioned, if Suzuki or kk are off limits for the habs byram is double off limits

Zero chance of Byram getting dealt for PLD, If you're lucky possibly Kadri and perhaps Newhook and that's even doubtful.

It doesn't, so there's no chance of this happening. They'd have to clear cap by trading Burakovsky/Kadri along with a prospect, which won't be Byram. I've said it a number of times, but Burakovsky + Newhook + 1st is an offer I could live with. Don't think it makes any sense for them to trade for PLD, but the offer at least makes sense.

You can’t even be upset about that deal. No idea what perfetti will become, his skating is suspect. I’d rather maximize our chances of winning now while our window is open. Over waiting 3 years for Perfetti to make a major impact and have wheeler age a lot, scheifele older and window closing.

I’m not too worried about perfetti being a bust. I just think he’s 2-3 years away. Honestly, I think adding PLD just increases the chances of laine staying due to having a really good C to play with.
