  1. Ryan, Bobby
Détails additionnels:
Let's assume Ryan continues at a similar pace and re-establishes himself as a top 6 player... this is DET's biggest chance to sell, and I think they can net some solid value here w/ this cap hit

DET
  1. Copp, Andrew
Détails additionnels:
at some point WPG will likely realize that they need to sell a bit and retool their bottom six / defense ... Copp is a great piece for a team like Detroit... true defensive middle sixer that is deeply underrated. WPG might be the type that takes a shot on Rasmussen

Détails additionnels:
If BUF is to buy to strengthen their defense, then they need to move cap... for some reason I think Miller is the subject of being moved as Risto looks better so far.

Détails additionnels:
Don't think the Avs are truly confident in their net... Bernier is cheap on the cap, doesn't cost a mittful to buy, and is underrated and could be the perfect piece. (In this situation they roll 3 goalies)

Easy decline by The AVs. Way too much to give up for a 3rd goalie

1 for 1 for Jost? (not like Jost's value is through the roof these days... tho ik you guys prefer to be conservative with him)... or 1 for 1 for a 3rd/2nd?
Bernier is better than most give him credit for... he's been pretty solid and reasonably that would improve behind a stable team. Joe doesn't seem like one to splurge on a top end talent, so I thought perhaps he would buy "low" on someone who is low risk, high reward.... rotate him through the lines and maybe see if he is capable of running starter / tandem with Gru.

Avs need jost and his cheap cap hit,
And it’s not a tandem if they are healthy, he’s a 3rd goalie behind a tandem they already stated they believe in.

No real interest in bernier at that price. A 3rd round pick is too much got a guy who won’t even dress

There is absolutely zero chance the Wings trade Rasmussen and a pick for Copp. He is still very young and cost controlled where Copp is older, up for more money and we have a ton of middle six wingers.

I think selling our rentals is a wise move to add extra draft picks. Ryan at around a 2nd is a good price. Nemeth might be able to get us a 3rd, but a 4th would be fine. We’ll have to see who still needs a goalie at the TDL but I think we could get a 3rd if the fit is right.

Don’t think we should trade for Miller. We’ll have Seider joining the team next year so our right side should look like Hronek, Seider, Stecher. If anything we should get a LHD since Nemeth, Merrill, and Staal are all free agents next year.

I think it’s to early to give up on Rasmussen. He’s not going to be a star but I see him being a really solid middle 6 forward and power play specialist because of his size. I wouldn’t trade him for Copp straight up

On what planet would Yzerman trade Rasmussen and a 3rd round pick for Andrew Copp? Noway Detroit does that deal. Nemeth has been pretty solid so far Nemeth at $1 million retention is worth a late 2nd round pick or 3rd round pick. If Bobby Ryan continues his hot pace he's going to be worth far more then a 2nd and 5th round pick that's for sure.

Yep, easy decline here from Colorado.

Jost might not have lived up to 10th overall expectations, but he's still a really useful player for Colorado, in that he's versatile, good defensively, and cheap.

If Avs acquire a goalie like Bernier it would be something like the Hutchinson/Rosen trade where we just give up a depth piece for a No.3, and certainly not giving up valuable picks or pieces off the NHL roster.

Bernier put up better analytics than both of Colorado’s goalies last year while playing for one of the worst teams in history and Colorado has a history of losing all their goalies in the playoffs to injury

Avs goalie ms have been good, he’s it a hard concept to follow don’t send an awful team message of marginally replacing your back up or goalies when they have don’t nothing but meet
Their expectations of performance

It’s only the fan bases of other teams who try to push this goalie nonsense on the avs

Did you not read the part where berinier had better stats than both of your goalies on one of the worst nhl teams ever?

Did you not read about how it is an awful message to send for no reason when it isn’t a significant move

It’s not marginally replacing the backup it’s significantly upgrading the starter
