Mode - plafond salarial: Basique

Description

we WONT make playoffs this year. far fetched to say 1st OA but not impossible to say top 10. We would pick either a center or defenseman so my money is on Kent Johnson, Matthew Beniers, Luke Hughes, Aatu Raty, and William Eklund. Either of Johnson and Beniers is NHL ready imo so they would slot in at third line, however, a few months in the minors or ncaa will help him more than rushing him right away. Strome is traded at the draft while Hajek is grabbed by seattle. We resign all of our rfas and come ufa, we resign di guiseppe and smith for cheap just to have depth. Also, we sign nils lundkvist to an elc and he makes the roster opening night. In FA, we dont do anything big but we do sign henrik lundqvist to a one year deal so he can finish his career a new york ranger. Kravtsov will definetly be on the opening night roster. Come the 2021-22 season, we should be decent, maybe good. if the rangers can see that the young players are ready to step up, denagelo is a goner. I could see a trade for picks and a 3rd pair d man so nils can take his spot and have a relative ok partner. A 1st and player could be good for deangelo. we have a chance to make the playoffs but i think they will take the route to play young players first so expect a lot of games where young players are seen getting ice time, even if it isnt best for the team winning.

Not sure what Deangelo returns. He was great offensively last year, but with his defensive issues and "attitude issues", I'd question if anyone would give up a 1st for him. Also, any reason why he was a healthy scratch this year?

Agreed that he's more valuable...but they should have a different designation for dmen who can't play D...like "He's a 50 point rover" or something like that.

the reason was becuase he bad mouthed a ref after a questionable call. he was sucker punched and got a penalty so he said something to a ref and slammed the penatly box door shut. quinn wanted to play him against the devils but also wanted to keep the lineup the same so quinn is at fault. Deangelo sat the first game as a statement to younger players on the team.

he hasn't been as bad defensively as most people give him. he has average to a little below average defensive ability but not completely bottom of the trashcan like johnson.

i never agreed more but less and never been this conflicted. some games deangelo isnt bad defensively and some games hes worse than king johnson. idk hes iffy on d but superb on offense.

I just dont see it. Had dq put him on the left of trouba maybe i just dont see him getting the ice time and hes not going to get 35 points on the pp in the east

1. Idk youre right about deangelo making the pp so much better fox is VERY good. 2. Blackwood is playing great BUT you were still playing the devils. When you have to face hart and PHI, rask and BOS, varly and the isles its gonna get a lot harder.

last year he played 69 games i believe and 56 points. this year i can expect 40 points in 54 games.

hes not THAT talented, he does however have a few all star/elite teammates. Fox was with panarin on the point for the pp and looked fabulous. deangelo there would look flawless.

Agreed he has great teammates but those are john carlson numbers and hes got the purest goal scorer in the game. Hes really good but i just dont think hes on that level

in washington they rely on ovi for goalscoring. in ny, we have mika, bread, kreids, fox, buch, maybe kakko. he has opportunities to get high point counts

fair enough, but again, a career year is the best year up to date. players can have even better seasons after that "career year"
