Really like this lineup. I think you can even swap Toffoli and Caufield. This will open up better passing lanes for Tyler and Caufield already plays his offside on the Badger's PP so it would just be a minor adjustment for him.

Seattle takes Allen before Edmundson unless there is a serious sweetener in it for them. Why does everyone think Seattle is going to do exactly what their (insert favorite team here)Gm would want Seattle to do with no compensation or marginal compensation at best?!!

off wing on powerplay is very different from off wing in general but wing is the easiest position and as you said a minor adjustment for many players anyways.

It's actually easier for shoot first type of players than pass first cause they don't have to wait for the puck to cross their body. Pass first players are on their backhand on the offwing for passes

I don't know if they take Allen though. Both Holtby & Khudobin will both be available to Seattle. Unless Holtby just absolutely tanks this season (which is definitely possible), do you grab a 3rd goalie over a fringe top-4 defenseman? I like Allen, but as of right now I don't know if Seattle takes him over Khudobin or Holtby.

Edit: Also forgot that one of Korpisalo or Merzlikins will also be left available for the expansion draft.

I agree. Im a shoot-first guy (a center so I play a lot from both sides) and I much prefer attacking on my off hand for shooting, and making moves. Passing as well but that might be less common. I agree with you on that.

With all the goalie issues taking 3 and trading one over a 4-7 defenseman 4 generous 7 little harsh probably best description a 3rd pair
