Neither of the players really move the needle for Greenway. You’d probably have to start with a first if Beecher/Studnicka aren’t involved.

Don’t really see the fit here.

You want a 1st or a top prospect for a 30pt winger?

I’m saying it’s not a good fit, I understand the value is out of whack in my counter. BOS has kind of a **** prospect pool after those guys and that gap is gonna make trades that are good for both teams.

He paced for nearly 40 points at age 22 playing third line shutdown minutes. He has qualities that few in this league have. He's a very similar player to Coyle. If you had a 23 year old Coyle, would you trade him for anything less than that ask?

Also, I'm not sure if Studnicka and Beecher qualify as "top prospects" just because they're the best Boston has. Neither of them project to be that much better than Greenway, if at all.

So yeah, the ask would be a 1st or Beecher/Studnicka. To further support that point, Kunin, a similar level player, just returned a high 2nd, a high 3rd and whatever Bonino brings back at the deadline. Given that, the ask isn't unreasonable.

why cherry pick his best season? why not look at his career...which is what I did. If I had a 23yr old 40pt forward I would not be expecting a 1st or top prospect back.

Studnicka projects as a #2C that bring a 200ft game.
Beecher projects as a middle-6 C/LW that at worst projects as a #3C defensive center.

Greenway projects as a middle-6 PWF....which is essentially what Beecher projects to be.

You left out that Minny also included a 4th. What your also ignoring is NSH did it to clear around $2 million in cap space while getting a young equally producing forward. That'll drive the price up a bit.

Minnesota also didn't it because they were losing kunin in expansion. Get real. Minnesota isn't trading Jordan Greenway for this crap
