Honestly I think it’s close to fair value, maybe even an overpay. CHi is going to be so bad this year, wouldn’t be surprised if Kane and kubalik are traded. They’d probably ask wahlstrom + 1st for kubalik.

Kubalik is really good, Chicago is in a really tough spot where they’ve already committed to a rebuild while still having solid players. It’s likely they move some of them out, maybe I’m undervaluing kubalik, but a 1st + wahlstrom seems pretty solid for a guy who’s 25, with little to no team control after his current deal, who’s only had 1 season to evaluate.

Wouldn’t be surprised if Kane is traded? What?! I would be downright stunned. He has been the face of the franchise for 10+ years now. Bowman said not even a month ago toews and Kane are part of the rebuild plans so I just don’t see it. The only part of that core I can see being traded is Keith.

I wouldn’t be surprised. With a 3-4 year rebuild incoming, maybe longer, not sure how much losing they’ll take. Out of all of them Kane would be most likely moved as he’s got the most value out of toews and keith. I really wouldn’t be surprised if Kane is traded within the next 3 years.

Maybe idk. Bellows is playing well (i really like him) bolduc looked great in camp and 2 firsts. Thats a lot. Plus im superstitious 2015 great 1st round, 16- ok, 17- terrible (no pick), 18- great, 19- ok, 20- terrible (no pick). That means this draft we will have a great first round especially if we get another 1st like 15 and 18. So im hesitant about giving up our 21 1st. Maybe bellows+holmstrom+22 1st or 2nd if thats enough

Bolduc skates really well for his size and he’s pretty good defensively, but his hockey IQ isn’t great and he’s needs to work on his puck moving skills. That’s just what most scouts have been saying.

You can’t teach hockey IQ. I think eventually bolduc will be an NHL defenseman, but it won’t be for a long time. He needs a lot of work in BPT. This organization takes their time with prospects anyways so I can’t see them playing him when he’s 21 YO with the flaws he has.

Salo is 22 and should be NHL ready by next season (he turns 23 in October) and Aho is definitely ready right now and should get some playing time this year. He’s already 24
