1st line stole the show Saturday, the 2nd line on Wednesday, and the 3rd line has been consistently solid. Not sure why we're breaking those lines up just yet.

No reason to break up Muzzin and Holl. If bogo sits, try Lehtonen with Dermott.

According to that weirdo who's in love with Josh Anderson, yes.

Tampa when they rolled out 11 and 7 in playoffs: Hedman, Schenn, Bogosian (both only played with Hedman), McDonaugh, Cernak, Sergachev, and Shattenkirk. What you thinking is the plan here? Is it Muzzin splitting Holl and Lehtonen shifts? Or more of a free for all where Rielly may get minutes with Dermott and Bogosian?

No idea, but Lehtonen is going on the powerplay. Guessing that they rotate Bogosian and Lehtonen depending on the zone start.

It’s early but Brodie and Rielly have not looked comfortable together. Brodie especially has looked bad. Giving him the benefit of a new team, new division, new coach, sometime to get he’s game going. I’d like to see:
Muzzin Brodie
Rielly Dermott
Lehtonen Holl
Bogosian

Enough with playing Dermott terrible mins. (MTL 12:34, OTT 12:59, OTT 8:57). If they think so highly of him to not include him in a trade then give the kid a chance to prove himself. I don’t get it.

Forward lines, pls reunite Marner/Tavares and Matthews/Nylander.
Nylander Matthews Hyman
Mikheyev Tavares Marner
Kerfoot Thornton Vesey
Boyd Simmonds (Boyd if Spezza sits)

Which is tragic... because the lines are not that good.

Hyman-Matthews-marner
Kerfoot-Tavares-nylander
Mikheyev-Thornton-Simmonds
Barabanov-Spezza-vesey

Would be far more optimal.

Funny I didn’t see this before I posted. They don’t want to break up 34/16 or 91/88 but I would prefer they did at this point.

100% agree about Dermott, he has looked good.

I honestly think Dermott has been the best D so far in 3 games. Yes in a limited and sheltered role but give him a longer leash. I think Dermott and Rielly would be a very good pairing.

And now lehtonen will be making his debut tonight. Leafs are dressing 7 Dmen. Dermott will probably see 7min. Brutal.

100 percent! But I’m excited to see Lehtonen. Personally, I think the best possible lineup for the Leafs this year is 7D lineup. Use Bogosian every now and then and 1st PK duties

I kinda disagree. I love the third line of Hyman - Kerfoot - Mikheyev. I think it really spreads it out and makes it easy to roll the lines.

Matthews has 4 5v5 goals Tavares has 3 5v5 goals and 3rd line has 2 5v5 goals and we aren’t even giving a **** how bad Freddy is playing.
