Did you see any pre-season games this year? Because I didn't... If a team comes out slow and then responds with the utter destruction of the same team, I'm good with it. But calling them the most overrated team in the US after two games? Come on now.

Btw not 1 of their top 6 forwards and top 4 defensemen has played more than 1 full 82 game season within the last 4 years. The most injury prone and brittle team in the league. They roll top 6 bottom 6 which doesn't help with their best forwards are injured.

They've been called a contender for 3 years and barely have a top 6. Now they have Saad which helps assuming he rebounds.

Maybe slightly, when people talk like it would be a disappointment if they don't win the cup, but I'd have to say, they are probably the best team in the nhl (regular season at least, the presidents trophy winner rarely wins the cup, and I would be surprised if the avs don't win the presidents trophy).

So they're overrated because they've dealt with injuries a lot? Are you choosing to ignore the fact that they made it to within a goal of the western conference finals for the past two years despite the injuries?

I was surprised when some media put the Avs among the top contenders at the beginning of last year. I just didn't see it that way, yet. But to be honest, they've lived up to expectations. So it's hard to claim they're the most overrated.
