It was an exaggerated point for sure. Asking for a first (undoubtedly good one as Buf sucks) for a 4th round defenseman who can't make a not great Ott team either, and a 23 year old forward who's a middle sixer at absolute best is also moronic. Play stupid games, win stupid prizes. Don't want people to point out it's stupid even if you acknowledge it is, don't post. Basically everyone just agreed with his assessment that neither trade make any sense. Don't think he needs you to defend him when he already acknowledged both are bad and people agree they are bad.

It's not a matter of defending him, it's pointing out to those that posted, that it will never happen, that the OP posted, that it will never happen. What is the point of telling someone exactly what they told you?

As for trade ideas on this site, most are unrealistic, but only the trolls would suggest, "Stutzle and a first for Girgensons".
